Jo Maisonneuve is an Ottawa-based pro MMA fighter and black belt BJJ competitor who has overcome numerous personal obstacles, and built her career on perseverance and relentless drive. After six years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces, she transitioned into combat sports and turned professional — winning her debut amateur fight in a fierce 43 seconds. In 2019, she earned a World Championship gold in the BJJ absolute division, cementing her reputation as one of the region’s most formidable competitors. Jo brings a warrior’s precision to every fight — and an instructor’s heart to every mat session.
